The stars showing detectable helium absorption, which corresponds to increased helium abundance

The stars showing detectable helium absorption (filled circles), which corresponds to increased helium abundance, also have increased light element abundances ([Na/Fe] and [Al/Fe]). Thus, enhanced helium is associated with a second generation of star formation in Omega Centauri.
