In October 2010 the Gemini community was invited to propose System Verification science programs for GNIRS. The deadline for proposals was October 25, 2010. The PIs of successful applications were notified on November 13. SV observations originally were planned to be undertaken during December 2010 - March 2011, but because of poor winter weather the period was extended to the end of Semester 11A.
