The observing team at Gemini keeps a detailed log of each night's science observing, also noting weather issues, technical faults and any time spent in planned engineering. It is read by Gemini staff early each morning. A summary of the night is written at the end of observing and included at the top of each night log. That summary is posted here, unedited, to give interested users a feel for what we're doing.

Jul 04, 2021 Expected to be clear all night with average seeing. DD104, Q205 are priority targets. Conditions were CC50/IQ70 all night. First half of night contended with some faults, second half went smoothly. Observed many band 2 targets, with some band 1 and 3 thrown in.
Jul 03, 2021 Forecast calls for clear sky with moderate seeing. DD104, FT212, Q126 are priorities. Skies were clear, but seeing did not meet expectations. Did mostly band 2 and band 3 programs.
Jul 02, 2021 Forecast calls for clear sky. Q116 is a priority in all bands. DD104 is priority if weather allows. FT212 also a priority. Tested out the old/new FT 212 run and its way of doing things. Condition stayed clear but IQ85 most of the night, so did some band 3s.
