NIRSPEC Schedule and Observation Execution

The status of proposal assessment and reports on each night's observing are available below.

8 April 2000 observations

Some observing took place on April 8, although thick clouds prevented the completion of all but (probably) one program. A summary of the night is available.

19 and 23 May 2000 observations

Observing took place on both 19 and 23 May. The weather was good on both nights. Although a few instrumental problems and our inexperience in coping with them compromised some of the measurements, good quality data for several programs were obtained. A summary of these nights is available.

14-16 December 2000 observations

Skies were cloudy on the first night and clear on the second and third nights. Fourteen programs were observed completely or in part, with good quality data obtained for most. A summary of the observing run is available.

11-13 June 2001 observations

Observations were made on all three nights, but only the first night was clear. Eleven programs were observed in their entirety or in part, with good quality data obtained for most. A summary of the observing run is available.

20-22 November, 2001 observations

The weather was good during all three nights of observing, and a total of fifteen programs were observed in their entirety or in part. A summary of the observing run is available.
