Semester 2001B Important Dates

Key dates and events in the 2001B proposal process are shown below.

caution Individual partner countries may have slightly different dates for the nationally-managed elements of the process such as the proposal deadline and NTAC meeting. QuickStart deadlines are reported as being 29 March (Canada), 31 March (US, UK, Australia, Gemini Staff),  6 April (Brazil), 9 April (Chile; update...extended to 23 April)  and 20 April (Argentina). 8 June Draft queue and classical schedule Drafts generated by operations staff and distributed to ITAC members
15 June ITAC International Time Allocation Committee (ITAC) meets to resolve issues
22 June Final schedule/queue plus ITAC & Gemini feedback to NGOs After approval by Gemini Director
25 June Issue queue and classical schedules on web  
1 August 2001 Start of semester 2001B
