Updated beta version of the Gemini IRAF package released (v1.12beta2)

• An updated beta version of the Gemini IRAF package (v1.12beta2) has been released. This version is required for processing GSAOI data and includes configuration files and examples. Please see the pre-releases page for more information.

PyRAF v2.0 Compatibility
UPDATED! March 4, 2013 (original announcement made on February 6, 2013)

• The Gemini IRAF package is not compatible with PyRAF v2.0. Users requiring the Gemini IRAF package should NOT upgrade to PyRAF v2.0 at this time. NIFS users should download the edited version of the nifcube task provided on the Known Problems page, which provides a workaround to the incompatibility with PyRAF v2.0.

IRAF v2.16 Compatibility

• The Gemini IRAF package is not compatible with IRAF v2.16. Users requiring the Gemini IRAF package should NOT upgrade to IRAF v2.16 at this time.

Problems using the Gemini IRAF package in Scisoft OSX installations

Updated version of the Gemini IRAF package released (v1.11.1)

• An updated version of the Gemini IRAF package (v1.11.1) has been released. All users are encouraged to upgrade to v1.11.1 of the Gemini IRAF package.
