GeMS

GeMs is the Gemini Multi-Conjugate Adaptive Optics System. This facility instrument delivers a uniform, diffraction limited image quality at near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths over an extended FoV of more than 1 arcmin across. This corrected beam then feeds the new generation of science instruments: Flamingos 2 or GSAOI.

The Instrument Scientist for GeMS is Benoit Neichel
