Chilean StarTeachers Bring The Universe Into Hawai`i Classrooms

| The second-half of the innovative StarTeachers program began on Saturday, October 11, in Waikoloa, Hawai`i, with a welcoming gala for the three Chilean StarTeachers. During the gala, Gemini Director Matt Mountain was honored to receive the Gabriela Mistral Medal for excellence in education from the Chilean Ministry of Education. The gala event kicked-off two weeks of science teaching and cultural exchange. | |
